To create effective headlines:
- Distill the information from the sticky notes into a single sentence that serves as the slide
- Write the headline as a full sentence and have a point of view
- Use clear and direct language, avoid jargon and acronyms, and use vocabulary that can be understood by a 10th-grader
- Read them all back to back and see if they tell a persuasive story without the need for additional text or graphics
